The Scottish Records Association will be hosting its annual conference at the Linlithgow Burgh Halls. The conference programme includes academics, researchers, archivists and enthusiasts who will be giving papers on the theme of researching the history of common lands and common good across Scotland.
The conference is to be introduced by Professor Roderick Paisley, Chair of Scots Law at the University of Aberdeen and sessions will be led by author and researcher Andy Wightman, archivist Iain Flett, and Dr Bob Harris of Oxford University.
The one-day conference will take place on Thursday, 6 November 2014 from 9:30am to 4:45pm.
